Sligro Food Group consists of food retail and food service companies that focus directly and indirectly on the Dutch consumer market. This is done at Foodservice as a wholesaler and at Food Retail as a wholesaler and retailer. Food retail The food retail activities consist of approximately 130 EMTÉ full-service supermarkets, 30 of which are operated by independent retailers. Foodservice Foodservice, as a market leader with a national network via self-service and delivery, focuses on large and small-scale catering, recreation, caterers, large-scale consumers, company restaurants, pump shops, small and medium-sized enterprises, small-scale retail companies and the institutional market. Self-service has 46 Sligro self-service wholesalers for this purpose. Delivery has 10 Sligro delivery wholesalers, as well as Van Hoeckel, which specializes entirely in the institutional market.
