Chris Lyons is a General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), where he focuses on consumer and web3 investments. He is particularly passionate about backing founders building at the intersection of culture, technology, and community. Chris serves on the board of Yuga Labs (creators of Bored Ape Yacht Club) and is an advisor to New Story and other innovative companies. Prior to joining a16z, Chris gained extensive experience in venture capital and entrepreneurship. He is also a Kauffman Fellow (Class 19), recognizing his excellence in venture capital. Chris is deeply engaged in the web3 and NFT space, supporting projects that empower creators and communities. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and is committed to supporting diverse founders and building inclusive innovation ecosystems.
